No, we didn’t manage to organize it, my girlfriend worked there some years ago and visit the Galapagos with her would have been amazing, next time!

Amazing photos-- what an intriguing place. So beautiful to see a vibrant, beautiful city that isn't overrun by tourists, AirBnBs, souvenir shops, cruise ships, etc. Of course, I suppose if you build your city at that altitude, it weeds out some of the daytrippers :)

Thank you! Yes it is a great thing, probably the altitude influence it, but I think that now the main reason is that the country is not safe, or at least not everywhere.

I have relative from there. Wonderful to see the place with your perspective. If I may offer some unsolicited advice, I hope would you consider using a tool to do some post-processing of your photos to take them to the next level. If you are using an phone camera, one possibility is ACDsee Pro that can do a lot of editing tasks for a tiny investment.

Great story we enjoyed Quito. Did you get up to the museum on the hill? Can’t remember the name off hand. Brilliant house and museum up there.
