Hello Flavio! Great post. I miss Japan. I was stationed there in the mid 90s and fell in love with the people (one in particular) and the culture. Unfortunately, I had to leave in 1996 and have not gotten back. Your post really brought back memories and a renewed longing to visit again. Thank you for writing this, I enjoyed your perspective. I just subscribed.
Great story! Isn’t it always the case that we should have budgeted more time for these lovely places? Your stories are making me seriously consider a trip to Japan. Thank you.
Minoo Park sounds like a true gem. Those pancakes look delicious too! A great read as always, Flavio!
Thank you! Minoo park is amazing!
No fried maple leaves when I was there a few weeks ago, all was shut and some of the trails closed for maintenance. Did you visit the bug museum?
No didn't visit the bug museum
There's some great tips here Flavio, perfectly timed for me, I travel to Osaka in two days. 😃
Cool! Thank you! Enjoy it! Hope to read something about it!
Wonderful article to read! I would never have thought fried maple leaves were a thing!
Thank you!! Try them when you will have the opportunity!
Your article is fascinating, as always Flavio. I really enjoyed reading it. Thank you so much for posting the wonderful photos and great narrative.
Thank you! I'm happy you enjoyed reading it!

If you have US dollars, just hop on a plane and go. The exchange rate is absurd right now.
Yes, when I was there in 2019 the exchange was 1 € 100 yen, now is 1€ 160 yen.
