Love both Nara and Kyoto! The deers are so cute and the temples astonishing. The Fushimi Inari looks so different in real life that it was a big surprise for me.

Loved Fushimi Inari Taisha! We went at night and there was hardly anybody there. Also, it looked so pretty illuminated at night.

Stunning photos, Flavio! When I was in Nara I only fed the sika deer. You discovered some interesting sites. Thanks for talking about emas. I saw those in my trip but didn't know what they represented.

Nick and I had a similar experience with Japanese students at Hiroshima! They were about 8 years old, and asked if we knew any Japanese sports stars. It was super cute (despite the morbid setting!).

They were the same age also in my case, they were cute, and I find it a nice activity to do in the way to force them to practice.
