Flavio- the Singapore’s lion is very much a famous figure. For some reason, I like the two blue buildings the most. Not sure why though? Maybe because it makes me miss home. There we call those “ruko” aka “rumah toko,” or “house-shop.” Thanks for sharing, Flavio.
Loved the photos, especially of Singapore. Was there just before the pandemic and was wowed by it all. The beautiful foliage, the gardens (loved the Botanical), the super trees, the food, and the modernity. We lucked out and stayed in a historically preserved 'shop house.' All in a row of 7, we were towered over by 40 and more story buildings--clash of old and new. I'd love to go back.
Thank you! I was living in a 100 years old colonial house in Kuala Lumpur, same conditions as you a row of colonial houses surrounded by skyscrapers. Very nice experience! About Singapore I'm a bit sad that I was there just for a couple of day, I need to go back to explore more.
Yes, now you know you must go back! Even, or especially, the airport was a mindblower. Theatre, yoga and meditation spaces, huge orchid gardens with waterfall. I couldn't believe it. And when we departed, we saw no one. No customs officer, all was done electronically -- and that was that.

Thank you! You mean the colonial buildings? I like them too, there were many in Malaysia too.
