Devoured this post! Beautifully written with great photos to accompany the stories. You really took me back to the bustling streets of Seoul. It’s one of my favorite cities of all time and I don’t think I could ever get sick of it. Even though we’ve visited twice, you showed me several spots that we haven’t explored yet. Thanks for giving me many reasons to go back! - Hannah

Many years ago I won flights for two to anywhere in the world that a now defunct Australian airline (Ansett) flew to. Seoul was on the list, but I decided against it, choosing Bali instead. Sounds like I made a big mistake. Thank you for sharing your trip.

I think that Bali was a nice decision! I think it must have been wonderful!

Seoul is a fantastic city, I’d love to go back. Beautiful pictures especially the scenes with the women wearing the traditional dress. If I’m right, when Koreans wear their traditional dress to historical sites such as temples they can get in free. Sounds to me like a great idea!

Yes but also tourists can rent the traditional dresses, so could be that some of them are Asian people that rent the hanbok.

Ah I didn’t realise that!

Such lovely memories and wonderful photographs.

I hope one day to have the courage to wander by myself in a place like this.

I think its the language thing with it being a symbolic language. No way I can even guess at what signs say.
